Cable Laying Project Completed Successfully
DSV “CCC Pioneer” has successfully completed a cable laying campaign offshore Qatar and has already relocated across to her following campaign with another EPC contractor.
The DSV “CCC Pioneer” was the platform from which all installation work was undertaken, utilising in-house resources and personnel, including survey, ROV, SAT diving and cable laying services.
DP II CCC Pioneer is CCC’s purpose-designed and built multi-purpose Diving Support and Subsea Construction vessel, which has an ABS classification of DPS2 and is classed according to SPS 2005.
The vessel is equipped with an ABS-classed 12-man saturation diving system (with SPHL) capable of operating down to a depth of 200m and an air diving system: a Seaeye Leopard Electric WROV, 75mT telescopic subsea crane and 30mT telescopic subsea crane. The vessel accommodates up to 112 personnel (plus divers in SAT) on board.
Facilities include a 650m2 clear deck (capable of supporting loads of 10T/m2), plus an elevated helipad at the bow. It is ideal for subsea installation, inspection, construction diving and ROV support.
